This sunset view of Starship SN8 awaiting launch at Boca Chica, TX was painted in January 2021, based on a spectacular photo by C. Nunez Images, for my dear partner-in-crime's Valentine's Day present (he's also the biggest SpaceX fan I know.)

Space Shuttle Atlantis at KSCVC

This is a view of Space Shuttle Atlantis as it's displayed at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex—the same view we had when my dear fiancé proposed to me in May. In the background, where the projection screen would be, I've loosely rendered a view of auroras over the earth as seen from the ISS. This will always be a special place for us!

Sahara Desert Seen From ISS

7x10", watercolor on 100% cotton paper. I was very inspired by a photo of the Sahara Desert taken from the International Space Station, by Astronaut Shane Kimbrough. Fractals are everywhere in nature, and the winding alluvial fans and dunes in this photo make it very evident.
